On Thursday we had a Fashion show , to show off the dresses we made from scratch from a pair of white jeans and a white t-shirt. In my group was Sive Niamh downey and Emily Moran and we were given the colour purple, but when we died it it turned out more marroney :( We wanted to do a big 1800's dress princess inspired , but our teacher wasn't to keen on the idea , so we went with Tim Burton's corpse bride. Sive was our model and on Thursday she strutted her stuff down the runway to Jar of hearts by Christina Perri. Unfortunately competition was stiff an we didn't win :( Well done to everyone though for their lovely guna's.

One Day

I read One Day by David Nicholls.
Dexter and Emma meet on their last day of college in England and experience life sometimes together, mostly separately over 20 years. Each chapter tells the story of the same day, July 15. In each chapter they are either emotionally together, thinking about one another or litterally together, which makes us realise the should betogether long before they get together.
Dexter and Emma are the definition of the saying "opposites attract" Emma is a bookish working class northerner and Dex is from a privlleged backround and is very confident.
After spending there first night together there is a promise that they will do something together the next day "brand new day" , they then go their seprate ways , keeping in touch by letter or postcards. Emma is very much infatuated with him and sends him page long letters when he can barely scrap together aline on a postcard and doesn't take much meaning or notice from her "love" letters. Esentially he's not ready for a relationship , but from the letters and quarrel's theres a hope that he will be.
One day brings up the question of "can women and men just be truely good friends". This book made me laugh even tho the plot matter is not uplifting but the ending made me cry but left me in a fury of unsatisfaction and wanting more, its not a classic "happy ever after" and in some ways shows the diffrence between men and women writters. The ending was unlikely and cruel to readers and viewers or the motion picture after falling in love with Emma.
I found this book lived up to my expectations and the hype press put on it!
I would give it 10/10

Thailand!!

Haven't blogged in a while because I was in Thailand for 2 weeks and then it was midterm.
Thailand was great but so different to Ireland ! I flew over by myself to my dad were he was working. We went on loads of trips, like to tiger temple and elephant trekking ! Elephant trekking was my favourite ! The elephant I was on was called Mikey. In our geography project I choose Thailand for my second world country. It was easier to do when you've actually experienced the places. I loved thailand so much

And the winner is ...

yesterday we Found out who won the very competitve Fun Walk , and really the competion is just between the P.E teachers classes so poor little eriu is left neutral , but secretly we were chanting for banba :D ecerything was so secretive and competitve overr a bar of chocolate ! At least we just had fun ! Go BANANAS

Mini Co.

Tomorrow were going to the second mini co. workshop in newbridge this time ! Im very excited mainly for the reason ill be going to Mac Donalds during school time.. Yammy :) Mini Co. is very stressful :( weh weh i just want it produced and being sold ! But so far every where we email we get ignored ??
Ijust cant wait for Mid term :) YAAY ! 18 DIAS oh seá

Bananas , a healthy food or a silly dance ?

Tomorrow is the fun walk and i have never put so much effort into my dance , and its still not finished !
 our colour was yellow so were doing a dance based on cheerleading bananas ? :L Lets just say the dance isnt going to plan , everyone is getting prettty stressed out ! but well pull through on the day ..hopefully

Time fly's by when your having fun ! with larko !!

Time in TY is just flying by we've already been in Ty 4 weeks and were on our 5th :)
So far i love  it !! its fun filled , although you do feel the stress of projects but I'd say its nothing compared to 5th or 6th year.  I love my class cause iv made new friends and become better friends with girls.  The good thing is in ty the weekend flies in and you dont have to do home work so you can go out to your friends and watch the X Factor . My fave in X Factor is bradley Johnson !!!!!!!!

Friends opera !

In music we were giving a project where we have to come together as a class and create and opera from scratch ! For our opera our class decided to take the most dramatic and funny pieces from the TV show friends ! We're doing " The one where ross is fine " , " Theres no left falangie on the plane " and " The one where ross finds out " . In our opera production im on the Costume and Set team . At the end of our performance we're going to do a dramatised version of  "Smelly Cat ".

Results , But more imporant results night !

14th September .. D day , not really unlike some i wasn't really that nervous what i was going to get was due to the fact i didn't study so there was nothing i could do. The waiting part was unbearable ! We were all called down to the sports hall and put in our old classes for the last time , and were handed are results we all went outside as we got a half day , i opened my envelope and laughed . Once i opend the envelope i had forgot about the stress and worrys of the juniour cert and just wanted to go out and celebrate with my friends :) We went to saoirses house before because it was her birthday and then we went to time bar and venue in nass , which was so good !!! It was such a good night , left us wrecked in the morning unfit for pilates ! Most teachers let us play games or relax in class because most of us were zombies !

Every time i blog i get very nervous i never know what to write :( weeeh !

Carlingford ! ahh yeah

We set of for carlingford at 7 am , we were all tired but coukdnt wait , when we got that we were split up into the groups , my group was great ! my favourite thing in carlingfor was lasers and night line cause the really brought us together as a team :) that night we had Chinnese for dinner it was yum ! and we all sat in the common room with another boys school and we were singing and having the bant ! In carlingford there was a sweet shop called Candyford which had all my favourite old sweets that you couldnt get any more. We hardly slept all night cause we were all up talking and eating sweets :)
It was a great two days :D

Carlingford :D

Its the night before carlingford and im so excited :D I just packed like 5 pairs of tracksuit bottoms :O Im so excited everyone says its the best part of TY ! We have to meet at 6:45am at esso ,im going to be so tired ? i hope i get in a room with all my friends :) This week is oing to be great cause we go to carlingfor then come home on wensday and its results night then thursday and friday are the best days :D
Next time i blog itll be how great it was

First blog !

So far iv been in ty a week and i love it ! thursdays are my favourite days ! we do pilates and dancing with ms.o'reilly which is so fun cause we have to make a dance and then preform it at the end of the year :) we also do photography with rob love. On friday i could barely walk i was so sore !! in TY you do so much more activites cause you have free time , like today me and saoirse sighned up to bag pack out of school.
im so excited for carlingford ! YAY
